【摘要】:ThispracticedescribestotheenduserhowtocollecttheFT-IRspectraofin-serviceoilsamplesforin-serviceoilconditionmonitoring.Variousin-serviceoilconditionmonitoringparameters,suchasoxidation,nitration,soot,water,ethyleneglycol,fueldilution,gasolinedilution,sulfateby-productsandphosphateantiwearadditives,canbemeasuredbyFT-IRspectroscopy(5-8),asdescribedinPracticeE2412.Changesinthevaluesoftheseparametersoveroperatingtimecanthenbeusedtohelpdiagnosetheoperationalconditionofvariousmachineryandequipmentandtoindicatewhenanoilchangeshouldtakeplace.ThispracticeisintendedtogiveastandardizedconfigurationforFT-IRinstrumentationandoperatingparametersemployedinin-serviceoilconditionmonitoringinordertoobtaincomparablebetween-instrumentandbetween-laboratorydata.1.1Thispracticecoverstheinstrumentset-upandoperationparametersforusingFT-IRspectrometersforin-serviceoilconditionmonitoringforbothdirecttrendanalysisanddifferentialtrendanalysisapproaches.1.2ThispracticedescribeshowtoacquiretheFT-IRspectrumofanin-serviceoilsampleusingastandardtransmissioncellandestablishesmaximumallowablespectralnoiselevels.1.3Measurementandintegratedparametersforindividualin-serviceoilconditionmonitoringcomponentsandparametersarenotdescribedinthispracticeandaredescribedintheirrespectivetestmethods.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
